Correct Balance Tension?

Question

What is the correct balance tension for my windows? The sash balances have the following markings: 26 4 GT CMC 2 and 26 4 HP Caldwell.

The balance appears to be a 27" Series 385 Channel Balance

A stamp of 26 4 usually corresponds to our 2640 option, but you should weigh your window sash just to be sure that's correct. The S385-27 page features a chart that lists each option available and how much weight each can support.
