Correct balance weight

Question

I'm replacing a balance.  The vinyl sash measures 24" x 26" and the thermal pane appears to about 22" x 24".  Do you have an estimate for the window weight so I can get the correct balance strength?  Thanks.

This is just an estimate, but a 22" X 24" insulated glass pane in a vinyl sash should weigh about 12 pounds. Hope that helps.
