Correct pivot shoes

Question

Please help me determine which pivot shoe would be best for this window. The window is a tilt sash. The thickness was 1/2 inch. Also, the window is about 18 years old should I also replace the spiral balances.

Hello,

Your pivot shoe resembles either our 15-178 or 15-188. You'll need to remove the shoe to accurately measure the width and thickness to see if one of these will work for you. Thank you!
