Correct plastic pin caps for bifold closet door

A home owner from Puerto Rico says:
Hi! I'm trying to replace the plastic pin caps on my mid 1970s home. The only label found refers to the doors as "model C". I bought Swisco part Bifold Door Pin Cap 21-111, but it seems the pin is a bit wider than the cap and it won't slide in. The new cap's length is fine.

What other cap can I use? Or do I have to buy a pin and cap assembly?

Thanks!

Hello,

It looks like you have the original Slimfold bi-fold door, which we carry the new style pins that will work for you. For your old door, you will need one 21-001 bottom corner adjusting pin and three of our 21-007 guide pins. We have also associated videos on how to install them to help you through the process. Thank you!
