Correct tip color for new balances series 600

Question

Buying new balances for my windows. They are 20 years old and the desert heat has ruined them. Need to know what color tips to buy. I have 28 inch, 5/8 inch diameter tubes. The window sash weighs 15.1 pounds. Thanks for your quick response and any recommendations or diagrams on how to install would be greatly appreciated.

We actually have a chart on the S600-28 store page that tells you exactly what kind of weight the S600-28 can support. For a 15.1 pound sash, you're better off going with a Red Tip. For installation instructions, see the video below.
