Crank Handles

Quick Learner from Tacoma, WA

I have 2 windows that previous tenants "trashed" the crank handles, low profile sash lock, and bearings to hold the crank shaft in place.  I've purchased the Sash Locks (p/n 38-075), and operator covers (39-107).  Now I need two bearings to hold the screw-threaded crank shafts in the operator bodies.

Or am I having to replace the whole operators?  (center crank)

Sounds like the worm gear stripped out of your operator. Is it a corks-screw shaped gear that pulls out of the operator base when you turn the handle?

If so, this cannot be repaired or replaced in any way. You need an all new operator. I'm happy to make a suggestion to that end, but we require a clear and unobstructed photo of the operator fully removed from the window in order to identify a match.
