Crank Replacement

Quick Learner from Watsonville, CA
I have 2 vinyl windows that need crank mechanism replacement. One opens right, the other left. It appears they are from the same manufacturer. The only identification that appears to be branding is on one handle.

Please let me know what you can about manufacturer, model and replacement cost.

Thanks, Bob

Hello,

Your photos resemble the Encore operators shown in the video below. The difference between the two pairs is the fitting that connects the long arm to the sash. Take a look and see which operator pair matches your original hardware. Thank you!

Sorry for the delay. Here's 2 photos of each crank. They are essentially the same size and mechanism, one opens to the right and the other opens to the left. Please let me know if you need any additional information. It appears to be closer to the 29-539 model to me.

Thanks, Bob

Thanks for getting back to us, the main difference between the two types of Encore operators is the fitting at the end of the straight arm that connects to the sash. The fitting is not included in your photos and may still be inside the track that the arm connects to. You'll need to determine which type of fitting your crank uses to determine the correct replacement.
