Casement Operator has Wrong Link Arm Size

A home owner from Medford, MA says:
I ordered Sash Dyad Crank, 5" 39-188 for my rollout window but the arm is just slightly too long for the window to close completely. My guess is the window was installed in the late 80's. Is there a replacement part for this or am I out of luck?

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:

Sorry to hear of your troubles with the 39-188. This isn't an uncommon problem. What I have done in the past would be to first try and move the sash bracket over a little to make up the difference. Another thought would be to swap the link arm from the old operator using the 62-014 rivet. Let me know if either option could work for you.
