Crank for wood casement window

A home owner from Niantic, Connecticut says:
We have a left crank window. The crank will turn to the right and open the window, however it will not turn to the right and close the window. It unscrews itself. Do we have to replace the whole lock? I tried to upload pictures. Hope it works, Lisa

Addition pictures that might help identify the window, and necessary parts.

It's hard to tell with the operator still in the window. Take a look at the 39-032 that could be the operator for you.
