Crank mechanism broken

A home owner from Chicago says:
Hello!

I hope you're doing well. I will do my best to explain the issue and describe the parts involved (apologies in advance if I'm not clear).

I have an issue with what I think is a Truth 40012 window casement crank operator (I think that's what it's called). In the one of the photos I attached, I circled in red the piece that came out, and that I am unable to screw back in. Three of the photos show the broken mechanism (and one photo shows the functional mechanism from another window). I think I am looking for a replacement casement (or that small part that I can screw back in, allowing for the window to close tightly). Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Ziv

Tom from SWISCO responded:

You will definitely need an all new operator. Once that little washer comes out, there's no repairing or replacing it.

Start by looking at our 39-348 and compare it to you original part. Let me know how well they match up.

A home owner from Chicago says:
Excellent. Thank you, Tom! I'll give it a try.
