Crank open window latch

A home owner from Crestwood, KY says:
The only marking on the window latch is what appears to be the letter 'T'.
The house was built in 1978, and I believe the windows and hardware are original to the house.
The latch is sticking and unable to be 'latched' unless given a little bit of starting help from the outside. So, I'm looking for a replacement latch.
Thank you in advance for any help you can lend!

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Hello, Dan! I recognize this lock. It's not made anymore, but the original manufacturer (Truth) designed the new 38-097 and 38-098 to replace it. Just note that the new style locks won't be compatible with your old style keeper, so you'll also need the 38-079
