Thanks for posting. When the worm gear is stripped like this, the entire mechanism does indeed need to be replaced. I am sure we can help, but we'll need to see the entire mechanism, including the arm(s) that push and pull the window sash. A bird's eye view, with the window open, would suffice. We'll do our best to assist you from there.

Thanks! It's still a little difficult to make this out, but we have four operators that I think might replace this. See our 39-015, 39-083, 39-140, and 39-143. These all have the same design as yours but differ in terms of size. Review the arm measurement we show on each of their store pages, linked in this post. That will allow you to decide the best option.
