Internal crank mechanism threads are stripped out of the hosing. Looks like I would need the whole unit with the arms I assume. Is there a replacement for this part? Arms straight out are 16-1/2" long.

Your awning operator resembles the 39-140. Note that the arms measure 16" wide when fully retracted as shown below. Take a look and let us know if you need anything else. Thank you!

I measured the arms in the closed position and they're 21" wide.

In that case, our best match would be the 39-083, which measures 21-1/2" wide when fully retracted.
