Hi, my 70s era crank out is broken. Please confirm that I need to replace the mechanism. It's right side crank. Do I need 5 1/4"? Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm afraid we can't ID your assembly from these photos. We would have to see a clear shot of the link arm which will require disconnecting it from the linkage. Please let us know if that's possible.

I will need to get help to remove the pin holding the arm. Pin needs to be cut. Here's a couple additional pictures of the arm and mechanism. Let me know if this helps or if I need to cut the pin. It's not easy to cut or remove.

You shouldn't have to cut a pin to remove your operator from the window linkage. Normally, the operator is connected to the window by use of an E-clip or shoulder screw. With that said, take a look at the operators and hardware we've related for you on this page. Review the specifications and see how they compare with your old assembly.

Hi,
Attached are additional images of the operator & connecting arm to the window. The connecting arm does not have a shoulder screw or e ring as you can see in the image. Let me know if you need information let me know.

Looking at your photo showing the "fastener" that connects the operator to the window, it appears that the fastener is corroded. However, I'm not sure if it's a shoulder screw like the 33-070 that the head of the screw broke off or if it is a groove pin similar to the 33-077. Take a closer look at it to determine what type of fastener it is. If it is a screw, then try a set of pliers to turn it counter clockwise to remove it.

From your listed options it is 33-077. Attached are picts showing how the arm is attached.
I still need to replace a broken operator. Please advise which operator I need. It is right handed.
