Crank replacement

Quick Learner from Colorado

I have a window in need of a new crank, about 25 yr. Old house. Number on the back of the arm is 40530 and number on the plate is 45047. Pivot point to middle of roller 9 3/8, plate is 4 3/4 by 1 1/4.

Can you help me find this? Please and thank you.

Hi there Njal, I believe we can help with this, but we'll need to see a photo of what you have now.

Ah, I recognize this old operator. These are not made anymore, and we cannot be sure if anything we carry can work in substitution. The closest we have are our 39-216 or 39-028E. I've also made a list of related parts you may want to look over.

The big problem with using either of these two operators is that they will likely not fit your existing sill or sill trim. You may want a local professional to come out and look your windows over to see what they exist. If either the 39-216 or 39-028E can work, they'll require adaptation of your sill and I cannot be sure as to the extent.
