Crank replacement.

Crank replacement. I have a home that was built in 1987 and I have Anderson crank windows. I would like to replace the handles with the recessed fold over model. Are they universal?

The 39-376 is not universal, no. Quite the contrary, it can only work on very specific Truth brand operators. It's not even universal to Truth, only on Encore style operators with offset handles.

Your operator is Andersen and has a centered handle. Andersen designs their hardware intentionally so that you cannot use off-brand parts to replace their hardware. They don't want you buying parts from anyone but them. With that in mind, your options are limited.

The only Andersen-brand folding handle we sell is the 39-301. This should be compatible with your operator, though it does not have the recessed style like the Truth part.
