A quick learner says:
HI the Black plastic part of the slider on this hinge broke on both sides and I need a replacements. What part number do you think this is? Let me know if you need more info? I did send you an email a couple of days ago, and these are just some more detailed photos. Thanks much. Dave

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm afraid that you won't be able to replace that black guide by itself. When that breaks, you'll have to replace the whole hinge.

In your case, I recommend our 36-048. This isn't exactly the same as your hinge but as long as you replace the top and the bottom at the same time then you should be okay.

A contractor from San Diego says:
I have a similar broken black plastic guide however I have an awning style casement window that opens out from the bottom instead of left or right. Also it doesn't crank it's more like a lever that has two bars that pivot/break in the middle. Which 2 bar hinge would you suggest to use?

It's tough to say, we'd have to see a picture of the hinge to be able to make a recommendation. If it's a 2-bar hinge on a casement window than odds are our 36-048 can still work. This is a very versatile hinge kit and works for most casement windows in my experience, you just have to make sure to replace both the top and the bottom so that the window's operation is even.
