Croft 20 Series pivot bar : SWISCO.com

Hello,

The attached pics are from a Croft vinyl series 20 window. The pivot bars needs replaced as one is broken and one is bent. It appears to me this pivot bar is about 2 3/8" long. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for writing in! Your pivot bar looks like it could be either the 26-398 or the 26-405. To confirm which of these is the best replacement for your repairs, carefully review and compare the dimensions. You'll especially wan to confirm the dimensions for the installation hole placements on the pivot bars.

Thank you for your response. I measure the pivot bar I have and neither the 26-398 nor the 26-405 seem to have the same hole spacing as mine. The overall width of the point end oval ends seem to be the same; however, my bar is a total of 2 5/8" long with the first hole at 1 5/16" and the second at 2". Is there something with those dimensions?

Hi Matt,

Thanks for confirming. To determine if there is a better replacement solution, I'll need to see a clear photo of the compatible coil balance assembly. I'll especially need to see a photo of the metal cam the pivot bar fits into.
