Custom Balance inquiry

Question

I have at least 11 windows that don't operate properly. I have attached pictures so you can determine what's wrong and what replacement parts/kits I need. Please let me know. Thank you.

11 windows for now, maybe more. Vertical sizes are:

(5 windows 62 1/2 inches tall, 5 windows 58 1/2" tall, and 1 window 54 1/2" tall).

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm not entirely sure what may be wrong with your window. Can you go into more detail as to why they aren't functioning properly?

Based on the focus of your photos, I'm assuming you've deduced that the issue lies with the balance. When these break, your window is no longer able to stay open on its own, which is a common issue.

Your balance in particular is a very old model that's not made anymore. The good news is that we sell a modern channel-type balance that can replace it. See our Series 775. There's nothing custom about this balance, this is a stock part and should replace your original without issue.

Your next step is to measure an undamaged version of the balance to determine length. You will also need a precise sash weight so that you can pick the proper weight calibration.
