Question

Marvin all wood windows from early 1990's.
Metal balances on the sides w the springs in them need replacing as the ropes inside broken.
28" on some bars, 16" and 24

Hello,

Your balance resembles the S751 at first glance. You'll need to confirm if your assembly has the same ribbed channel, a rivet at the top for installation and uses the 15-014 locking shoe shown below. I'd also recommend double-checking the length of your metal channels since the 28HD stamp balance shown in your photos looks like it may be longer than 28". Take a look and let us know what you come up with.
