Custom size ?

A home owner from Queen Creek, AZ says:
Hello,

My current channel balance bent. I can read " 33 5 BSI RN" printed on the metal, but I am not sure it is 33.5 or 33 5, since the channel bent exactly between those two values.

Is there a standard size of "33.5" ? Or is the 5 a value for another attribute of the channel balance?

Thank you!

Tom from SWISCO responded:
The stamp only has an indirect bearing on the length of the metal channel. With a stamp of "33 5," it should be 34" long. The stamp technically only indicates the strength of the spring. It's not a literal representation of any physical feature.

When you measured your metal channel, what did you get? Could you show me a picture of your balance?
