Custom spiral balance

Question

Hi,

I've measured and remeasured - our series 900 special balances are 28.5" in length w/ a red tip. Their dia is 3/8". Would it be possible to get a custom quote? If possible, what would the turn around time be? We would need 14.

Hey, Sharon. I don't think this needs to be custom made. Many older spiral balances were made on the 1/2", but over the years manufacturers switched over to making them on the full inch. In your case, I think you'll be okay if you bump it up to the 29" long S900-29. That is what we usually do and it works out great.
