DEL MAR Engineering vs 81-176

A quick learner says:

Has anyone confirmed that the 81-176 roller set is an equivalent to the "DEL MAR Engineering" roller set?

I see a few customers have had a need but I don't see confirmation from anyone that it met their needs.

There is a deviation from the "Del Mar" roller which has 2 tabs on the top that lock the roller housing to the door. The 81-176 doesn't have these tabs and relies only on one screw to hold it in place and minimize the movement between the door and roller housing.

Any update on the performance of this roller set would be appreciated.

I'm afraid we haven't received any confirmation that the 81-176 can work for your old roller. It is however the only match we know of on the market. Yours just isn't made anymore. I'm sorry we can't offer a better replacement option.
