DOOR HANDLE AND LATCH

Below is handle and latch for my screen door. Handle is mounted on inside of porch and door swings in.Is your 40-033 have the same latch and do you have a handle like the one shown?

Hey, Chuck. Looks like your handle is for an out swing door. You might have reversed the handle so it closes for an in swing door, but the handle set itself is meant for an out swing door.

That said, I think your handle is closer to our 40-034 set, though your inside latch looks more like the 40-117 (instead of the inside latch that comes with the 40-034). Could you just replace the inside latch with the 49-117? Take a look and compare it with your lock and handle.
