Daryl awning windows in condo in Honolulu with incorrect operators

Handy Person from Honolulu, Hawaii
The window operators seem to be incorrect—the windows don’t fully close. The original units appeared to have only four screw holes: two on the top and two on the bottom. It looks like the wider one was drilled to accommodate upgrades over the years but I could be wrong.  How do I tell which operator will work with the mechanism/arms shown in the photo? There are two different awning window types, same brand, but I suspect same mechanism goes on both.

Hello,

Unforutnately, we can't determine if your operators are incorrect since we base our recommendations on the original hardware installed in the window. I can say that we offer the 39-016 and 39-017 box operators used in Daryl windows, but you'll ned to compare the specifications below to confirm if it's a match. If you have any doubts, please get back to us with additional photos and written-out dimensions compared to our diagram below. Thank you!
