Thanks for posting. The 40-194 and 40-089 are not compatible. The 40-194 is meant to work with the 40-123 or 40-129, instead. Are these closer to what you have?

It looks as if 4--129 would work. $35 for that plus $43 for the latch 40-194 and I'll have more than the cost of a whole new latch with handles. Maybe I should ship what I have back and order thw whole mortise latch. Your thoughts?
