I'm having some difficulty finding a replacement for a sling out storm door with a backset measurement of 1 1/2". The current mounting holes for the handle are 1 3/4" on center. The previous handle also had mounting holes for a deadbolt lock centered at 1 3/4". The door thickness is 1 1/2" as well.
If I don't get something close to the 1 1/2" backset and shim up the strike plate it would stick out on the edge of the door frame and catch on people and clothing. So I would prefer staying with the 1 1/2" backset if I can.
Would you carry any black or dark metal door latches that would fit these dimensions?
