Depth of 40-039S thumb latch

Question

How deep is the thumb latch section? The deadbolts I found at Ace Hardware were deeper tahn the one I presently have.

When you say "deep," do you mean the gap between the through bolt and the door frame? If so, that measurement is 1/4". The height of the dead bolt body is 5/8". We will put these measurements on the 40-039S store page in the near future.
