Depth of spindle insert

Question

I am repairing a storm door handle complete. I will order 40-150 but I need to know the spindle depth on the latch. The defective one (inside latch) I have is 11/4" deep. I know I c ould grind the spindle down to accodomate athe new part but I would rather not.

Hey, thanks for posting. The spindle depth looks to be almost 1-1/2" deep. I hope this helps.
