Hi there,went to assemble and the slot on the #15-004 is too narrow to fit over the metal channel end.

Your original balance has an older style metal channel, which would explain why the 15-004 won't fit on it. You may need an all new balance. I can recommend one, but I need to see a picture of the top nylon fitting to confirm.

That's still the bottom fitting, which you showed in your first response. The top fitting is on the opposite end of the balance.

Thank you! I recommend the Series 385 channel balance. This comes with a 19-005 top, which matches yours, and a 15-004 bottom. I am very confident this will replace your original balance.

I don't know, that depends on what length and option you need. If you visit the store page of the size you need, it should tell you whether we have these parts in stock or not.

I can tell you that our backorders are delayed considerably due to the quarantine. We don't have an ETA, but I can promise that we're trying to get them back on the shelves as soon as we can.
