The 40-032 has mounting holes that measure 1-1/2" installation hole center to center; the 40-033 has mounting holes that measure 1-3/4" installation hole center to center.

What is the difference between the 40-032 and the 40-033 outswinging storm door handle sets?

Can this be used as replacement for a Pacesetter storm door?

I'm not sure what hardware Pacesetter storm doors used. Remove the current handle set from your door and try to match up the hole dimensions to one in our Storm Door Handle Set Catalog.
If you have trouble identifying it on your own, please reply to this discussion with pictures.

What is the projection of the interior handle on 40-032? The handle I have now hits the lockset of the wood door behind it and cannot close.

The inside handle projects inward approximately 1 3/4". Are you able to move the storm door handle up or down, away from the inside handle? Moving forward, you may also want to take a look at the Swisco 40-152 Pull Handle Set. You may be able to cover your existing holes with the back plates that come with this set.
