Difficult to remove and reinstall

Question

The area was competent enclosed around the channel balance! I had to let open the area to reinstall (after having pried it out of the channel. It was very difficult! And then I had to reinstall the foot at the bottom! I basically damaged the channel, permanently deformity some areas! There has to be a better way.....

It looks like you have a vinyl jamb liner for your wood window sashes. With both sashes out of the window frame, you should be able to pull one of the jamb liners from the window pocket. You might have to cut away the paint that might be causing the jamb liners to stick to the frame. We do not carry jamb liners but you can take it to your nearest millwork and they can supply you with a new set of jamb liners. Thanks for posting and good luck with your repair.
