What the maximum door thickness that this will fit? Can it be used in a 1 3/4 inch thick door?

These handle sets will only fit a door thickness between 1 and 1-3/8" thick. Not the 1-3/4" thick you need, unfortunately. Our recommendation would be to check with the door supplier to see if they can supply you the door handle you need. I am very sorry that we can't offer a suitable replacement but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions.
