Distance of latch from lower hole

I need to replace my patio door lock. It seems to similar to your 82-008 product. The question I had was how far the latch was from the lower hole so that it fits into the hole in the door frame.

The 82-008K comes with the 82-201 tooth installed, which is 7/8" front to back. The 82-008K also comes with an assortment of different sized hooks in case you need a particular size.
