I want to add a lock or replace the complete assembly that is lockable

Are the photos above adequate for you to recommend how to install a lock into this latch assembly? There is a knockout to accommodate a lock.

If other pictures are necessary, please describe what you'd like to see.

It's tough to tell from this angle what handle set you have, but it looks similar to our 82-002K. This is compatible with the 82-302 key lock. Look this lock over and see if you could use it in your door set.
