Do I have the 70-143 clips

70-143P ... I have pella screens from 1992, would this be the clip to buy. Would you be able to tell me how one actually does the replacement?

Thanks for posting! I don't know if the 70-143P was used by Pella in 1992. Does it match your original clips? Are the dimensions the same? If not, could we see a few pictures of your current clip for comparison?

To install, you just need to clip it into the pre-existing hole in the screen. Where are you running into problems?

The issue that I have is how do I get the old clip out of the screen?

Thanks for getting back to us. I've dealt with these clips before--uninstalling them is very difficult, unfortunately. In my experience, it really is just a matter of trial and error. I know it's a pain, but if you keep at it, you'll eventually be able to get them off. I'm sorry we can't be of more help!
