Do I need more to go with 39-253R & L?

Quick Learner from Window crank
I recently purchased 39-253 R&L I went to replace and wanted to know do I need additional parts to install. The smaller arm look like it is connect with plug can that be removed or do I need to get another plug. It appears to be embedded and concerned that if I remove I will need the plug that hold the little arm in place. I hope that makes sense.

Check out our 39-529. Could this be the part you're missing? It goes into the end of the long arm and slides into the track under the sash.

No I have that part already. If you look at the first attached photo and you will see the two screws and one screw that I did not place back into the attachment. In the corner where the small arm is attached to the piece with the screws there is something that attaches the small arm to the piece with the screws. In the photo attached I circled the area that I am referencing.

Oh, I see. That's just the attaching pin on our 39-545. If yours is broken, you'd have to replace the whole bracket, as it is not available by itself.

The part is not broken? I am concerned that if I put to much pressure will it break to detach? Not sure how to remove it appears to be very tight fitting.

It is a pressure-fit attachment, so it snaps on with force and it will take a little elbow grease to remove it. If you are concerned with damaging the window, unscrew the operator with the bracket still attached and then detach the bracket from the operator that way.
