Windows about 20 years old, the coils on both sides are broken. No markings anywhere.

Thanks for posting. I recommend looking at our 15-180 pivot shoe, Series 190 coil spring, 15-182 bushing, and 15-181 detent clip. You'll need the stamp on the old spring to determine the best Series 190 option.
