We would also like to see an image of the inside of the balance’s metal channel, where the innerspring connects to the pulley mechanism; this connection is located in the middle of the channel. 

Lastly, your old stamp is from an old rating system so we'll need to know the precise weight of the window sash to determine the correct stamp.

Thank you for the additional photos! Take a look at the S380-24 and S385-24 channel balances. The Series 380 has a 1" deep shoe and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" deep shoe. From your last photo, it looks like the bottom shoe may be over 1" which likely points to the Series 385. 

To determine the correct stamp option, you will need to weigh the window sash and refer to the weight chart under the product description on the S380-24 and S385-24 store pages.

We don't have a shoe with this exact depth but the Series 385 would be the best we can offer. There's a possibility that the shoe was once 1-3/32" but just wore down over time from use. Since the sash weighs 27.2 pounds, you can select the 2360 stamp option. A pair of balances with this stamp will support a sash weighing 27 to 30 pounds.
