I need a replacement latch. The opening measures 1/2" wide. There's another 1/8" to secure the hardware

Thanks for posting! I'm sorry to say we do not carry an exact replacement match for your Karey storm latches but our 91-176 Corner Latch Set may be worth considering as a suitable replacement. To confirm, carefully look over the dimensions posted below to determine if this could work for your repairs. This is the closest replacement match we have.
