Does it matter? Current track's full width, 2 1/8" smaller than 23-240's 2 9/16"

Question

Hi ...

I have a 48" polished brass bottom track looking to replace with the 23-240, in polished brass.

The inner track to track distance of 1 5/8" is a match to my current and the 23-240.

Would not seem to, but is there an issue if the full, current track width is less than the 23-240? 2 1/8", current, to 2 9/16" for 23-240

Let me know your thoughts.

Thank you for writing in, John. The distance between the two running tracks for the convex wheels are the important dimensions. So if yours is the same as our 23-240 (1-5/8"),the track will fit for your doors. The outside dimensions are not critical.
