Does my balance have to be custom made?

Some of my windows sash weight are completely done and I need to replace them but I guess the spring has to be custom-calibrated on the S380-30 serie since the stamp on the existing high impact windows is 48L.
I need to order 6 of them.
Please advise.

Hey there,

Thanks for writing in! There is a good chance your balance is a custom made assembly. The 48 in the stamp indicates to me that the sash may likely weigh 48lbs. Are you able to confirm this weight?

Since this is likely to be a custom order, I'll need to see a photo of both the top and bottom attachments from the balance. Please also double check that the length of the balance is 30" and that the depth of the bottom shoe is 1".
