I have just purchase a home here with 2-6 ft sliders and 2- 12 Ft 3 panel sliders. My question is how do I identify The brand to order parts or is it by picture match. Thanks Bill

Hey Bill. Pictures are best when identifying sliding door hardware. There's too much variation otherwise, even when you know the brand. If you can send us pictures of the handle set and the mortise lock, we should be abel to help you. Many thanks.

Ok thanks, one other question, if I have steel wheels can they be changed to nylon, willthat make them quieter when opening

We generally don't recommend switching from steel to nylon rollers, since your door likely needs the steel rollers to function correctly. Nor would I think it would make the door quieter. Replacing the rollers, and cleaning or even replacing the track, is your best bet to making door operation smoother. Let me know if you have further quesitons.
