The white latch button on img_8236 does not keep the door lock.
Our dog can push the door open.
Can we just get the button item better shown in img_8241 or do we really need the whole assembly.
Or is there an adjustment. The spring seems loose.

Hey, Mark. It sounds like the spring in the mortise lock is shot. I'm afraid we cannot replace individual components for this lock. I'm also not sure if we have an exact match for the whole thing, but our 40-194 looks incredibly similar. Go over our dimensions and see how well they line up. Sorry we couldn't offer an easier solution.
