Door handle with horizontal mounting screw holes on the inside of the handle.

Door handle mounting screw holes are not securing the mounting screws. The screws are screwed in from the side of the door.

It sounds like you need a new handle set. Your exact style isn't made anymore, but you should be able to use our 82-080 as a substitute. This is a newer, skinnier style but it works pretty much the same way. Look it over and let me know if you had any questions.
