Door key cylinder and parts

Question

The cylinder doesn't line up with existing holes on mortise plate. Also it doesn't fit the existing holes.

The overall length is 7 inches, width is 1 1/8 inches
The measurements between the holes is 6 1/2 inches

Thanks for posting. Unfortunately in this case I think the best thing to do might be to replace the handle set entirely. You can see our Return Policy for any items here. Otherwise, take a look at our 40-049 or 40-193. See if one of these might work as a replacement handle set. Let me know what you think.
