Door lock for Pella sliding glass door

I have a Pella sliding glass door. I would like to purchase your door lock 82-315 and convert the existing handle to a locking handle. The door is 1 1/2" wide. Pictures attached. Thank you.

The 82-315 lock should work for your door, but it won't be compatible with your existing exterior handle. You'lll also need an 82-044 pull to work with it.

Thank you for your help with the new lock. It actually worked in the existing exterior handle. Just needed to trim the metal insert as shown in your video and fit perfectly, so I did not need the new exterior handle but that's ok.
