I need to replace one sliding door roller guide.2 1/2" long, 3/4" wide, 1 1/16 high, 1" diameter metal wheel. Has a wheel adjustment screw. It is stamped "DEL MAR ENG. LONG BEACH,CAL." PAT. 3,670,357. This a double thermal glass aluminum frame door 4' x 6' 8". Very heavy probably manufactured in the 70's.

Thanks for posting! When I cross-referenced that patent number, I actually came up with a few different rollers. Check out our 81-077, 81-254, and 81-255 and see if any of these match your existing hardware. If not, could I see a few pictures of the roller? That would help us determine what the best match would be.

Thanks for your response. Your 81-077 appears to be identical except for the 1 1/4" steel roller. If the dimensions of the housing are the same I think it could be made to work. The trick would be to get the door to recess far enough into the overhead track for the larger roller to clear the sill guide. I am temporarily without my camera and cannot submit a picture until next week when my wife returns
