Door seal with a wide spline

A handy person from Lake Havasu City, AZ says:
I need to replace a door seal that needs to fit a 1/4" kerf. The standard size you buy at Lowe's just falls out. Otherwise the width and depth seem to be standard 1" x1/2" with 1/4 round mounting spline

When customers come to us with this type of door seal, we have recommended the 58-169. This has a nail flange that will allow you to simply nail it to the door. There's no need to get it to fit in any kind of slot. Personally, I have used this method when replacing my door seals and it worked out just fine. Look over the part and let us know if you have any other questions.
