Door sweep

Question

your part number 58-189 looks like what I need but the figure above shows the depth of the sweeps to be 5/8". That is too long for my door as the distance from door bottom to the threshold is
1/2". I previously bought a door bottom that was the size you quote and the door did not close
all the way.

What is the solution? Perhaps the new door bottom is too stiff and needs to be "broken in" for
a while. If this is the case, how long is the break-in period

Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not carry another kerf door sweep with a 1/2" projection but we do offer the 58-176 wrap-around sweep. Please note that this sweep fits 1-3/4" thick doors and installs using screws. Take a look and thanks for posting.
